How quickly does Clever Clothesline respond to rain?

Rain is detected instantly. Once detected, it takes approximately 30 seconds for the clothesline to retract and the doors to close fully.

How much laundry can Clever Clotheslinehold?

It is designed to hold one full typical family washing machine load.

Is Clever Clothesline fully automatic?

Yes. In automatic mode, it works completely on its own.

How is Clever Clothesline powered?

Clever Clothesline is powered by mains electricity via a standard outdoor electrical connection.

Has it been tested in extreme weather?

 Yes...

  • Heavy rain: Fully tested
  • Wind: Tested in severe storms, including Storm Ophelia (note: like all clotheslines, it should not be used in very high winds)
  • Frost: Components operate in temperatures from -40°C to +60°C
Is there a warranty?

Yes. Clever Clothesline comes with a 3-year warranty.

Does Clever Clothesline require regular maintenance?

No routine maintenance is required, apart from an annual inspection and adjustment if needed.
